The Terra Nova Tigers basketball squad scored 33 points and restricted the visiting Summit Shasta Black Bears to 19 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.

With the victory, Terra Nova upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Jefferson (Daly City, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Jefferson won 40-34 in their recent league challenge against Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA)

Next up, the Black Bears play the Mills Vikings (Millbrae, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Summit Shasta will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 49-41 league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA).
