The Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS) basketball knocked off the host Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS), 61-45 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Patriots (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS). The Raiders go into the MAIS 6A District 1 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Jackson Academy notched a victory over Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS), 57-46, in a league test.
The Rangers now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Lanier for a 4A Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 16. Raymond will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-28 league win over Richland (Richland, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-4.
