The Leopards (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Jackrabbits come into the 2A Region I District 4 challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Ralls was routed by Floydada (Floydada, TX), 94-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Antelopes encounter the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Abernathy will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 70-45 non-league win over Smyer (Smyer, TX).
