Wisconsin High School Basketball - Maranatha Baptist overwhelms Academy of Excellence

The Maranatha Baptist Crusaders basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Academy of Excellence Warriors to 34 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Wisconsin School for the Deaf for a Indian Trails game on Thursday, January 16. Maranatha Baptist will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 62-30 league loss to Mountain Top Christian (Horicon, WI). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Academy of Excellence falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Rock County Christian (Beloit, WI) to confront the Eagles in a Indian Trails game on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 13-3.
