The Spartans now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck for a North Iowa Cedar - West game on Friday, January 17. Grundy Center will confront a Rebels team coming off a 84-47 league win over East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, AGWSR falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hudson (Hudson, IA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 2-9. Hudson won 46-41 in their recent league game against Columbus (Waterloo, IA)
