Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), 61-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Lockport advances its record to 11-7 on the year. The Porters travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL) to face the Boilermakers in a SouthWest Suburban match on Friday, January 17. The Boilermakers enter the match with a record of 12-5. Bradley-Bourbonnais lost 56-52 in their recent league match against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL)

The Thunderbolts now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way East for a SouthWest Suburban match on Friday, January 17. Andrew will face a Griffins squad coming off a 59-50 league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 10-8.
