North Carolina High School Basketball - Summit Charter overwhelmed by Andrews

January 14, 2025: Cashiers, NC 28717

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Summit Charter Bears (Cashiers, NC), by a score of 98-27.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain test, on Thursday, January 16. Andrews will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 80-44 league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).

The Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils come into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Swain County bounced Nantahala (Topton, NC), 90-75, in a league test.
