    In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Anton Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 87-16 win over the Cotton Center Elks.

    The Bulldogs (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Whitharral (Whitharral, TX). The Panthers come into the 1A Region I District 5 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Whitharral smashed Meadow (Meadow, TX), 75-16, in a league contest.

    In their next game, the Elks battle the Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX) in a 1A Region I District 5 contest, on Friday, January 17. Cotton Center will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record.
