The Wisdom Pioneers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Ashland Hornets to 35 in the Pioneers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they host East Grand for a D North game on Friday, January 17. Wisdom will confront a Vikings team coming off a 91-22 non-league loss to Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Ashland falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Hornets host Washburn (Washburn, ME) to confront the Beavers in a D North game on Thursday, January 16. The Beavers go into the game with a record of 3-6. Washburn lost 55-44 in their recent league game against Easton (Easton, ME)
