With the victory, East Limestone advances its record to 17-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Priceville (Priceville, AL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 5A Area 16 match on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-9. Priceville won 61-39 in their recent non-league match against Madison County (Gurley, AL)

The Golden Eagles now own a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muscle Shoals for a 6A Area 15 match on Friday, January 17. Athens will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 67-30 league win over Decatur (Decatur, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 10-6.
