The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) and the host Austin Panthers (Austin, PA), observed Northern Potter's basketball team knock off Austin by a score of 34-25.

The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA). The Terrors come into the North Tier challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last challenge, Otto-Eldred prevailed over Port Allegany (Port Allegany, PA), 64-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) in a North Tier challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Austin will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 37-36 league win over Galeton (Galeton, PA).
