The Avon Braves basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Rochester Prep Tigers to 54 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Letchworth for a Section 5 Livingston 2 game on Friday, January 17. Avon will play a Legends team coming off a 49-48 league win over Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Legends record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Rochester Prep falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY) to play the Kings in a Section 5 Private Parochial game on Tuesday, January 21. The Kings go into the game with a record of 1-7.
