Nebraska High School Basketball - Morrill knocks off Bayard

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Morrill Lions basketball team scored a good 49-40 win over the Bayard Tigers.

The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Minatare (Minatare, NE). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Minatare was topped by Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 76-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Leyton Warriors (Dalton, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Bayard will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 66-44 non-league loss to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).
