In Tuesday's league test, the East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL), by a score of 63-45.
Next, the Flyers clash with the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. East St. Louis will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Barbs come into the test with a 11-5 record after their 48-35 non-league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL).
The Lancers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Kahoks come into the Southwestern test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Collinsville beat Alton (Alton, IL), 56-51, in a league test.
