Vermont High School Basketball - Rice Memorial fells Bellows Free Academy

The Rice Memorial Green Knights basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets to 56 in the Green Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Green Knights now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Colchester for a Metro game on Friday, January 17. Rice Memorial will confront a Lakers team coming off a 62-59 league loss to Essex (Essex Junction, VT). The Lakers record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Bellows Free Academy falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bobwhites/comets host Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 4-4.
