In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets basketball team scored a big 68-42 triumph over the San Leandro Pirates.
The Yellowjackets (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders go into the West Alameda County - Foothill contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Piedmont was trounced by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 78-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill contest, on Thursday, January 16. San Leandro will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 60-55 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA).
