The Newfound Regional Bears basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Berlin Mountaineers to 28 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsboro-Deering for a Division III game on Friday, January 17. Newfound Regional will confront a Hillcats team coming off a 72-20 league loss to Conant (Jaffrey, NH). The Hillcats record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Berlin falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Kennett (Conway, NH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-2. Kennett lost 78-53 in their recent league game against Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH)
