The Blake Bears basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Providence Academy Lions to 41 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Minnehaha Academy for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Blake will confront a Red Hawks team coming off a 90-56 league win over St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Red Hawks record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Providence Academy falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 2-9. Mounds Park Academy lost 82-31 in their recent non-league game against Breck (Minneapolis, MN)
