Texas High School Basketball - Bland knocks off Wolfe City

January 14, 2025: Merit, TX 75458

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Bland Tigers basketball team scored a good 53-35 win over the Wolfe City Wolves.

The Tigers (15-11) will now prepare for their contest against Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Tigers come into the 2A Region II District 14 contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Whitewright defeated Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX), 37-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, January 17. Wolfe City will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 7-18 record after their 46-35 league loss to Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX).
