Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial falls to Boerne

The Veterans Memorial Patriots basketball squad (San Antonio, TX), was outscored 53-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX)

With the victory, Boerne advances its record to 16-9 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to meet the Rangers in a 5A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, January 17. The Rangers enter the battle with a record of 9-10. Smithson Valley lost 62-51 in their recent league battle against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX)

The Patriots now own a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pieper for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Friday, January 17. Veterans Memorial will confront a Warriors team coming off a 62-48 league win over Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 16-10.
