In Tuesday's league contest, the host Hackleburg Panthers basketball team scored a big 79-35 triumph over the Brilliant Tigers.
The Panthers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Phillips (Bear Creek, AL). The Bears go into the 1A Area 13 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Phillips was trounced by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 83-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) in a 1A Area 13 contest, on Friday, January 17. Brilliant will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 73-65 league win over Phillips (Bear Creek, AL).
