South Carolina High School Basketball - Buford routed by Central

Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC), 74-53 in a league match.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) to face the Volunteers in a AA Region 4 match on Friday, January 17. The Volunteers enter the match with a record of 8-5. Andrew Jackson won 61-38 in their recent league match against North Central (Kershaw, SC)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host York Prep for a AA Region 4 match on Thursday, January 16. Buford will face a Patriots squad coming off a 83-53 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-6.
