The Marvell Academy Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Calhoun Academy Cougars to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record.
With the loss, Calhoun Academy falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lee Academy (Marianna, AR) to confront the Cougars in a MAIS 2A District 1 game on Thursday, January 16. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 0-4. Lee Academy lost 59-38 in their recent non-league game against Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR)
