The Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK) basketball were winner over the host Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), 47-33 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Ironmen now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host South Coffeyville for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Nowata will play a Lions team coming off a 64-38 non-league loss to Shidler (Shidler, OK). The Lions record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Caney Valley falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Dewey (Dewey, OK) to play the Bulldoggers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Bulldoggers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
