The Poland Knights basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Cape Elizabeth Capers to 64 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yarmouth for a B South game on Friday, January 17. Poland will play a Clippers team coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to Freeport (Freeport, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Cape Elizabeth falls to 3-8 on the year. The Capers travel to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME) to face the Rangers in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 8-4. Greely won 55-42 in their recent league match against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME)
