The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the host Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA), observed Saugus's basketball team overwhelm Castaic by a score of 86-55.

The Centurions (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Cowboys come into the Foothill challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, Canyon trounced Hart (Newhall, CA), 47-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Coyotes encounter the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill challenge, on Friday, January 17. Castaic will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 77-67 league win over Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA).
