In Tuesday's league contest, the host Castle Rock Rockets basketball team scored a close 65-58 win over the Columbia Bruins.
The Rockets (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kalama (Kalama, WA). The Chinooks come into the 1A Trico contest with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Kalama was nudged by La Center (La Center, WA), 68-56, in a league battle.
The Bruins now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stevenson for a 1A Trico battle on Thursday, January 16. Columbia will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 93-37 league loss to Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.
