New York High School Basketball - Central Valley Academy overwhelms Vernon-Verona-Sherrill

The Central Valley Academy Thunder basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 34 in the Thunder league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunder now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Central Valley Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 73-55 league loss to Proctor (Utica, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Red devils host Whitesboro (Marcy, NY) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 4-4. Whitesboro lost 66-41 in their recent non-league game against Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY)
