The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) and the visiting Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY), observed Clinton County's basketball team edge Cumberland County by a score of 57-54.

The Bulldogs (16-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons come into the District 16 challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Monroe County was tipped by Barren County (Glasgow, KY), 66-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a District 16 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Cumberland County will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 75-66 non-league loss to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
