The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA) and the visiting Solanco Golden Mules (Quarryville, PA), observed Cocalico's basketball team knock off Solanco by a score of 63-53.

The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden Spot (New Holland, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Garden Spot was knocked off by Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA), 59-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Mules encounter the Warwick Warriors (Lititz, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Solanco will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 56-53 league win over Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA).
