In Tuesday's league contest, the host Columbus Falcons basketball team scored a big 71-35 win over the Neshoba Central Rockets.
The Falcons (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans come into the 6A Region 2 contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Ridgeland smashed Callaway (Jackson, MS), 81-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a 6A Region 2 contest, on Friday, January 17. Neshoba Central will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 52-35 league loss to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS).
