The Community Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Madison Panthers to 28 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to New Franklin for a Central game on Friday, January 17. Community will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-39 league loss to Glasgow (Glasgow, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Madison drops to 1-10 on the year. The Panthers host Marion County (Philadelphia, MO) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 6-3. Marion County won 67-37 in their recent non-league match against Wellsville-Middletown (Wellsville, MO)
