In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Curtis Vikings basketball team scored a good 80-61 triumph over the Spanaway Lake Sentinels.
The Vikings (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA). The Jaguars go into the 4A South Puget Sound - North contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Emerald Ridge topped Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sentinels confront the Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound - South contest, on Thursday, January 16. Spanaway Lake will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 62-53 non-league win over Puyallup (Puyallup, WA).
