In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH) basketball squad trounced the host Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH), by a score of 78-45.

Next, the Royals clash with the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) in a Division III test, on Friday, January 17. Mascoma will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 67-34 league loss to Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH).

The Cougars (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Conant (Jaffrey, NH). The Orioles come into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Conant bounced Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH), 72-20, in a league test.
