With the victory, Desert upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Scorpions host Rosamond (Rosamond, CA) to face the Roadrunners in a High Desert match on Friday, January 17. The Roadrunners enter the match with a record of 6-10. Rosamond won 52-40 in their recent league match against Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA)

The Huskies now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frazier Mountain for a High Desert battle on Friday, January 17. Mammoth will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 41-28 non-league win over Kern Resource Center (Bakersfield, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
