In Tuesday's league contest, the host Dover Senators basketball team scored a good 45-33 win over the Smyrna Eagles.
The Senators (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Milford (Milford, DE). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Milford dropped by Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE), 66-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern contest, on Thursday, January 16. Smyrna will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Ravens come into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 57-30 league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).
