The Greyhounds (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Blaine (Blaine, MN). The Bengals come into the AAAA Section 7 challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Blaine prevailed over Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN), 82-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderhawks encounter the Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Grand Rapids will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 93-69 non-league win over North Woods (Cook, MN).
