The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), observed West Anchorage's basketball team overwhelm Eagle River by a score of 79-50.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Mustangs come into the 4A Cook Inlet challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Chugiak was routed by Dimond (Anchorage, AK), 62-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Eagle River will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 80-59 league win over North Pole (North Pole, AK).
