The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The Hornets come into the 1A Region III District 19 challenge with a 7-19 record. In their last challenge, Dodd City was knocked off by Miller Grove (Cumby, TX), 45-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Campbell Indians (Campbell, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Fannindel will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 51-42 league loss to Savoy (Savoy, TX).
