Connecticut High School Basketball - Glastonbury bests Enfield

The Glastonbury Guardians basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Enfield Eagles to 49 in the Guardians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Guardians now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Bristol Eastern for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Glastonbury will confront a Lancers team coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Platt (Meriden, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Enfield falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cheney Tech (Manchester, CT) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 6-2. Cheney Tech won 50-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT)
