The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL) and the visiting Lowndes Academy Rebels (Lowndesboro, AL), observed Evangel Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Lowndes Academy by a score of 59-35.

The Lions (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL). The Colts come into the AISA AA Region 2 challenge with a 17-1 record. In their last challenge, Hooper Academy was routed by Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL), 52-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Fort Dale Academy Eagles (Greenville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Lowndes Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
