Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming holds off Lord Botetourt

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Fleming Colonels basketball team scored a close 75-70 triumph over the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers.
The Colonels (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Heritage nipped Liberty (Bedford, VA), 60-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers confront the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Lord Botetourt will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 61-41 league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA).
