Next, the Longhorns encounter the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) in a 1A Region III District 18 test, on Friday, January 17. Forestburg will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 13-10 record after their 59-34 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, TX).

The Falcons (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX). The Bears come into the 1A Region III District 18 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Gold-Burg beat Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX), 64-56, in a league test.
