In Tuesday's league contest, the host Gainesville Red Elephants basketball team scored a good 65-47 triumph over the Johns Creek Gladiators.
The Red Elephants (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAAA Region 7 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Seckinger was toppled by Milton (Milton, GA), 56-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gladiators confront the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 contest, on Friday, January 17. Johns Creek will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 62-61 league win over Roswell (Roswell, GA).
