The Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), 55-41 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Picayune for a 6A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 17. Hancock will play a Maroon Tide team coming off a 44-36 league loss to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, George County falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to play the Panthers in a 6A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-3.
