The Grand Isle Trojans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Lutheran Gryphons to 24 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Phoenix for a C District 8 game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Lutheran falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Jehovah-Jireh (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-15. Jehovah-Jireh lost 63-37 in their recent non-league game against Northeast (Pride, LA)
