Kansas High School Basketball - Greeley County nudges Wallace County

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Greeley County Jackrabbits (Tribune, KS) and the host Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS), observed Greeley County's basketball team edge Wallace County by a score of 56-54.

The Jackrabbits (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rawlins County (Atwood, KS). The Buffaloes come into the Northwest Kansas challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Rawlins County edged Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS), 60-16, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Quinter Bulldogs (Quinter, KS) in a Northwest Kansas challenge, on Friday, January 17. Wallace County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 46-38 non-league win over Ingalls (Ingalls, KS).
