The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) and the host Greer Middle College Blazers (Taylors, SC), observed Woodruff's basketball team knock off Greer Middle College by a score of 76-59.
The Wolverines (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Stars come into the AAA Region 3 challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Mountain View Prep prevailed over Chapman (Inman, SC), 57-51, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Blazers encounter the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Greer Middle College will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Centurions come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 57-46 league loss to Union County (Union, SC).
