The Tigers now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Pottsboro for a 3A Region II District 11 game on Friday, January 17. Gunter will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 63-60 league win over Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-7.

With the loss, Leonard falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Howe (Howe, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 11 game on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 8-8. Howe won 43-33 in their recent league game against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX)
