In Tuesday's league contest, the host Guthrie Jaguars basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Spur Bulldogs.
The Jaguars (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Turkey, TX). The Patriots go into the 1A Region I District 8 contest with a 22-2 record. In their last contest, Valley topped Motley County (Matador, TX), 102-53, in a league contest.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patton Springs for a 1A Region I District 8 battle on Saturday, January 18. Spur will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 77-40 league loss to Paducah (Paducah, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 10-10.
